A side-by-side comparison of two URL safety tools, and which one to use depending on what you actually need.
Google's Transparency Report lets you look up whether a URL is on Google's Safe Browsing blocklist. It is authoritative but narrow: a page that is not yet on the list shows as "no unsafe content found", which is not the same as safe. Scanify includes the exact same Safe Browsing lookup, then layers on 95+ antivirus engines, a sandbox, domain age, SSL and a screenshot, so a brand-new phishing page that Google has not catalogued yet can still be caught by its two-day-old domain and lookalike hostname.
